12-year-old student was arrested for SnapChat threat against a school facility

Another Florida immature teenager has been arrested for posting threats to shoot other students at Burns middle school by using SnapChat.

12-year old Emma Acebedo has been arrested and charged with creating a written threat to kill, do bodily injury, or conduct mass shooting or act of terrorism.

According to a media unleash, on August 22, 2019, at just about 11:30 a.m., a student at Barrington middle school approached a school Resource Deputy (SRD) about a SnapChat post mentioning a school threat.
Deputies learned the threat was published on SnapChat by Emma Acebedo, a Burns middle school student.

Instagram just place ads in one of its last ad-free places.

We knew this day would come.

On Tuesday, Instagram declared that it’ll begin using the Explore tab as a way to indicate ads to users. The ads won’t show up in the main grid. Instead, once a user clicks on a post from Explore, Instagram can serve ads in the discovery feed users scroll through from that post.

Ads already appear in the home and story feeds, with a lot of volume and more forms of ads than ever. Explore had been, till Tuesday, one of the (surprisingly) last places on Instagram that didn’t have ads.

But many foresaw change a coming. During an earnings call in October, Mark Zuckerberg hinted that the Explore tab was an “opportunity” for additional ad placement.

TikTok for everyone (shortly for parents and millennials)

Chances are you may have heard there’s a smartphone app named TikTok, however may not know what it is or does. But, if you’ve recently seen a youth dancing, miming or lip syncing on a smartphone, you likely have your answer.

TikTok is asking Indians to guard against fake news this election season

In India, TikTok is mostly known for being home to videos of silly antics and movie lip-syncing. However the app currently also has much user-generated political content – a matter of which the corporate seems wary.
